RepRisk welcomes the EU ESG Ratings Regulation (EU) 2024/3005 to drive greater transparency

RepRisk welcomes Regulation EU 2024/3005 on the transparency and integrity of ESG rating activities. The regulation is an important step toward greater accountability and comparability in sustainability data and is consistent with RepRisk’s longstanding mission to drive positive change by providing transparency on business conduct risks.

Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and serving clients across the European Union with business conduct and reputational risk data, RepRisk falls within the scope of the regulation.

RepRisk’s application 2026

As part of our broader compliance program, we are actively advancing our application for authorization by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) under Articles 6 and 11 of the regulation, in accordance with ESMA’s application process and schedule:

Step 1

We will notify ESMA of our intent to continue operating in the European Union.

Step 2

We will submit our application for authorization. RepRisk Germany GmbH, our EU-based entity, will submit the application for authorization under Article 6, together with the application for endorsement of the RepRisk group’s parent company, RepRisk AG, under Article 11.
