Account Executive

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

We are looking for a driven, independent, and ambitious Account Executive in the Key Account Management department. You will play a crucial role for cultivating, managing and growing of client relationships with our banking, insurance, investment management, corporate, and supply chain clients, ensuring a seamless client experience. You will be part of our international Commercial team and report to the Global Team Lead – Key Account Management based in Zürich, Switzerland. You will be working virtually with colleagues and counterparts globally. You must be an established strategic thinker with relevant experience to represent the organization towards our numerous counterpart relationships. Moreover, you will:  

  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, asset owners, corporates, and other multinational organisations.
  • Drive account growth and expansion through upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and identification of new use cases, working closely with Sales and other internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to RepRisk’s market positioning by sharing client insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence with the wider organisation.
  • Develop and execute account plans for key clients, including relationship mapping, growth strategies, renewal plans, and engagement objectives.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of service throughout the RepRisk Client Journey, while continuously looking for ways to improve the client experience.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Account Management, Client Success, Sales, or another senior client-facing role, ideally within financial services, ESG, data, technology, or SaaS.
  • Higher economic education with a Bachelor's or higher degree preferred  
  • Candidates with experience with financial institutions, especially with asset managers, banks, and insurance, will be given priority  
  • A strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and translate client needs into business growth.
  • Understands business, financial and technical terminology, including how organizations operate, compete, profit and grow. Keeps abreast of developments in own field and considers how this knowledge can be applied 
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English and German. Any other languages are a plus.
  • Strong technical understanding that enables easy interaction with financial professionals, IT and Product Teams  
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients 
  • Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure and multiple priorities 
  • Advanced MS Office skills are essential. Experience using Salesforce is a plus
