Your Responsibilities

As the Junior Human Resources (HR) Generalist based in Zurich, working with the HR Team and the business, you are responsible for providing comprehensive support in all HR areas. This includes the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, HR administration, and compliance. You also drive, further develop and own the employee engagement surveys.

Your tasks will include:

  • Work with the international HR Team and provide comprehensive HR support in all areas.
  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, setting up interviews, and facilitating the offer process.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including new hire orientation and exit interviews.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and issues related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including employee grievances and conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HR information systems data, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Own and drive employee surveys with internal support, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Support the HR team internationally on HR administration matters.

You Bring

  • Commercial apprenticeship with further education in HR (Sachbearbeiter) or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience as HR Generalist, ideally in working in an international environment.
  • Initial knowledge and strong interest in HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills, while being pragmatic and solution-oriented.
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects with competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in English and German.
